Beginning in the 2022–2023 season, participation in the Arizona MCO locale will require a full-season commitment (both semesters) for all youth and Grand Chorus.

REGISTRATION & AUDITIONS

Please read the IMPORTANT INFORMATION and REHEARSAL SCHEDULE sections below prior to registering. Additional details may be found on the FAQ’s page.

To gain a better understanding of MCO, please read the About MCO section, including the Performing Ensembles and Participation Info pages. We also encourage you to visit our YouTube channel or listen to one of our eight albums.

REGISTRATION: Participation in youth ensembles (ages 4–18) does not require an audition. Participation in the Grand Chorus or Symphony Orchestra requires an audition (see Auditions below). 

  • Early-bird registration for the full 2022–2023 season (both semesters) for all youth and continuing Grand Chorus participants has closed. It offers a 10% discount and ten-payment and full-payment plan options. Registration for the 2023–2024 season will open in spring 2023.
  • Regular full-season youth choirs registration for the 2022–2023 season is now closed. Late registration will incur an additional tuition cost of $20.00 per choir. 
  • Regular full-season Grand Chorus registration for the 2022–2023 season for continuing Grand Chorus participants is now closed. 
  • Regular Symphony Orchestra registration for the 2022–2023 season for continuing Symphony Orchestra participants is now open. Although there is no fee to participate, all Symphony Orchestra participants must register so that we can keep accurate rosters.

GRAND CHORUS AUDITIONS: Placement in the Grand Chorus (adults) is by audition only. Audition requests for the 2023–2024 season are being accepted at the link below. Continuing participants do not need to re-audition; they may simply register. Prior participants who have missed one or more semesters should request to re-audition.

SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA AUDITIONS: Placement in the Symphony Orchestra (all ages) is by audition only. Audition requests are being accepted at the link below. Continuing participants do not need to re-audition; they may simply register. Prior participants who have missed one or more semesters should request to re-audition.

  • 1st Semester—1st Rehearsal: Saturday, August 13 (Grand Chorus boot camp) and Thursday, August 18 (youth)
  • 1st Semester Concerts: Thursday–Saturday, December 1–3, 2022, Mesa Arts Center
  • 2nd Semester–1st Rehearsal: Thursday, January 12, 2023
  • 2nd Semester Run-Through and Concerts: Thursday–Saturday, April 20–22, 2023, Mesa Arts Center

2023–2024 SEASON CALENDAR

  • 1st Semester Run-Through and Concerts: Thursday, November 30–Saturday, December 2, 2023, Mesa Arts Center
  • 2nd Semester Run-Through and Concerts: Thursday–Saturday, April 25–27, 2024, Mesa Arts Center

Rehearsal Schedule

Choral ensembles rehearse weekly on Thursdays throughout each semester. Details and times are below. The Symphony Orchestra rehearses on a few select dates TBD.

Rehearsal Location

Rehearsals are held at American Leadership Academy, Gilbert North 7–12 Campus at 1070 S. Higley Rd, Gilbert, AZ 85296, at the corner of Higley Road and the San Tan 202 freeway. Please follow this traffic map.

Tuition / Fees Per Semester & Attire Costs

Scholarships are available for those with legitimate financial hardships. Email registration@millennial.org for details. Payment plans are also available and can be arranged as part of the online registration process.
