Carol Cooper

Orchestra Librarian

Music has always been a part of Carol’s life. Her mother always sang to and with her children, and Carol participated in grade school, high school, college and community choirs. She is happiest when choir is a part of her life.

Carol has been privileged to be a part of MCO Arizona for 13 years, singing in the 1st Alto section. She has loved rehearsing and performing with them. She also took up violin a few years ago and plays with a little orchestra called New Horizons. Carol was an elementary school teacher and a school librarian for 35 years combined and now teaches piano lessons to 18 students.

Carol is grateful to serve as the Central orchestra librarian and help facilitate music distribution to our musicians in all the locations. She lives with her husband, Scott, in Gilbert, AZ. They have two grown sons and one daughter-in-law. Being with family is one of Carol’s greatest joys. She also enjoys reading, bicycling, playing pickleball and traveling, which she hopes to do more of in the future.
