Stacey Christensen is an Artist Manager for Brigham Young University’s Performing Arts Management office, contracting and managing domestic and international performance tours for some of BYU’s 15 elite performance ensembles. Currently, she oversees BYU Singers, BYU Men’s Chorus, BYU Women’s Chorus, BYU Wind Symphony, Mountain Strings and the BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble.
In addition to her BYU job, Stacey coordinates production projects across MCO locales and, when needed, steps in as a stage manager during concert season. Stacey’s broad experience includes different facets of concert production, organizational management, event planning, contracting venues and artists and planning large scale tours.
During her tenure with MCO, Stacey has served as the Managing Director for the Utah locale and the Youth Choirs Manager and Assistant Managing Director for the Dallas, Texas, locale. She also assisted with the launch of the Dallas, Texas, and Davis County, Utah, locales. She has managed tours and performed with MCO’s large casts in some of the finest venues in the United States, including Carnegie Hall, Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, The Music Center at Strathmore, Maurice Abravanel Hall, the Salt Lake Tabernacle, and BYU’s LaVell Edwards Stadium.
Stacey has a passion for spreading the message of hope, faith, and goodness through the performing arts and loves MCO. Stacey’s family has participated in MCO since 2009! She enjoys watching her husband play percussion in MCO’s orchestras and her children sing in the youth choirs.
Stacey holds a bachelor of arts degree in music, with an emphasis in voice, from BYU. She and her husband, Chad, have six children.
