Mandy was first introduced to MCO as a teenager after attending one of its early Dallas concerts. Inspired by the organization’s musical excellence, she told her mom that she hoped to sing with them one day. Years later, that dream became a reality when she joined the Grand Chorus. Since then, she has taken on roles within the organization, including Central Choir Librarian and Operations Assistant.
Music has been a constant thread in Mandy’s life for as long as she can remember. She grew up playing piano and singing in school choirs, musicals, and competitive vocal events, including all-region and all-state choirs. During college, she was a dedicated member of the BYU Singers for her entire undergraduate career. She also had the opportunity to perform at ACDA twice—once in middle school and again in college—as well as in the concert film Lamb of God under the direction of Rob Gardner. Mandy earned a bachelor of science degree in family studies with a minor in music from Brigham Young University.
Now a mom of two, Mandy loves sharing music with her children—singing to them, teaching them, and hoping to pass along the same love and passion for music that’s shaped her own life.
